3M Coban 2 Layer Compression System (10cm x 3.2m Lite / 10cm x 3.5m Standard)

3M™ Coban™ Two-Layer Compression System Lite / Standard is engineered with Intelligent Compression Dynamics to stay in place and deliver comfortable, effective, therapeutic compression for venous leg ulcers and other conditions requiring compression. The difference between “Lite” and standard generally is that “Lite” provides a lower resting pressure (i.e. somewhat gentler, more tolerable) for patients less able to tolerate full compression.The 2‑layer system always consists of: 1. A comfort / under‑layer (foam / padding) 2. A compression / over‑layerThey can be used for venous leg ulcers, edema, lymphedema, etc.The kits are intended to stay in place up to about 7 days.Compression / intended “strength / use:The 2794 is part of the Lite / modified version. It provides 25‑30 mmHg of sustained therapeutic compression.The 2094 is the “standard / regular” Coban 2 system. It is intended to deliver a somewhat stronger compression (not “lite”).Arterial / ABPI cutoff:The 2794N Because it’s gentler, it can be used in patients with ABPI ≥ 0.5.The standard Coban 2 (2094) is recommended for patients with ABPI ≥ 0.8.Length of compression layer / dimensions:The kit contains a comfort layer of ~2.7 m (unstretched) and a compression layer of ~4.7 m (stretched) in a 10 cm (4″) width for the 2794N version.For 2094, the compression layer’s unstretched length is shorter (3.5 m) with 10 cm width.Resting pressure / “lite” effect:The 2794 (Lite) is designed to reduce resting pressure by ~25% compared to standard to improve comfort.The 2094 does not carry the “lite” modifier, so it will have the full resting/compression profile for the standard Coban 2 system.
