If the pump machine stops at a predetermined amount or time, or if the power goes out, the feeding solution will not continue to flow gravitationally – maintaining a proper dosage after the machine has stopped.The feeding bag can hold up to 1000 milliliters of solution, which is a large volume for most patients and eliminates the need to constantly add more feeding solution as is the case with smaller bags.
